I’m running for State Senate, District L, to represent Eagle River, Chugiak, Birchwood, and Peters Creek. My deep connection to Alaska began when I was eight years old, living in Eagle River after my father was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base. My family cherished our Alaskan adventures and maintained our ties to the state even after the military moved us away. Following college, I returned with my new wife, Larissa, making Eagle River our home. We welcomed our son, Noah, last year, making us incredibly proud parents.  My entire immediate family followed us back to Alaska in 2017. 

Senseless tragedy struck my family last October when my brother was murdered by a career criminal. Unfortunately, this story isn’t unique to us and clearly highlights Alaska’s struggle with violent crime and a failing justice system. This made me realize if we wanted to see change, we have to make it ourselves.

I spent a few years working in Juneau for Governor Dunleavy negotiating labor contracts for the State. In this role, I went toe to toe with some of the most powerful special interests in this State… and won. I championed accountability and common sense, two things in short supply in Juneau. I’m proud of my work for Governor Dunleavy and even more proud that I came out of the swamp unchanged by it, something our current Senator can’t say. 

I’m running to be your trusted conservative in the State Senate, take back our voice, and bring accountability to the government. Together we can defeat these out of touch opportunists and ensure our Alaska has a vibrant future for generations to come.
